Aaron Totemeier is a Principal Technical Leader in Nuclear Fuels within EPRI’s Nuclear Sector. In this role, he leads research in advanced reactor fuels. Aaron joined EPRI in 2024 to advance the institute’s R&D efforts for advanced reactor fuels. He collaborates closely with teams in the Fuels & Chemistry Division and the Advanced Nuclear Technology Program.

Before joining EPRI, Aaron was a private consultant in the commercial nuclear sector, where he supported technology developers with engineering management and advanced reactor fuel design, manufacturing, and qualification. Previously, he served as the VP of Fuel Cycle Technology & Fuel Fabrication at Lightbridge Corporation. Aaron holds a B.S. and M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University and a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University.
